BAKER'S REEL, THE (Ríl an Bháicéara). AKA and see "Acrobat's Reel," "Whistler and His Dog." Irish, Reel. G Major. Standard tuning. AA'BB'. The melody is from Breathnach's own manuscripts. Paul de Grae finds variants in Ryan's Mammoth Collection (1883, pg. 137) under the title "Spit Fire (Reel)."
