AA'BB'. "Galop des Pompiers" was a collaboration between the playing of Montreal accordionist Alfred Montmarquette and the singing and percussion of Madamme Bolduc (Mary Travers). After an instrumental of the first two strains, Mme. Bolduc sang about firefighters rushing to quell a blaze:
