QUADRILLE DE QUÉBEC - 3ÈME PARTIE. AKA and see "Quadrille de Rimouski 1ère partie." French-Canadian, Quadrille (cut or 2/4 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. Soucy researcher Jean Duval finds a similar version of this tune was recorded by fiddle Luc Michaud two years after Soucy's 1926 release, under the title "Quadrille de Rimouski 1ère partie." Duval also finds melodic material in the second strain that Soucy developed in his "Quadrille du peuple 1ère partie (1928), better known today as "Reel de Gaspé/Gaspé Reel (1)."
