The melody belongs to a family of more or less related tunes that includes: "Cottage in the Grove (2) (The)," "Faraway Wedding (1) (The)," "Gravelled Walks to Granny (The)," "Highland Man that Kissed his Granny (1)," "Jenny Lace your Tight," "Jenny Tied the Bonnet Tight," "Lassie Tie Your Bonnet," "Lassies Tie Your Bonnets," "Lizzie's Bonnet," "Peggy on the Settle."
