BARHAM DOWN. English, Country Dance Tune. D Major. Standard tuning. AABB. The tune was originally published in Henry Playford's Dancing Master (11th edition, 1701). It also appears in the 1799 music manuscript collection of New Romney, Kent, musician William Mittell.
