INVERCAULLD'S/INVERCAULD'S REEL. AKA and see "O Tibby I hae seen the day." Scottish, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Invercauld House, a baronial mansion in Royal Deeside, Aberdeenshire, built on the site of an older castle, is the seat of Clan Farquharson. Musically, the tune is pentatonic or hexatonic, except for grace notes. See also strathspeys that go by the same title, "Invercauld (1)" and "Invercauld (2)."
