CAPTAIN M'DUFF'S DELIGHT. Scottish. Glen (1891) finds the earliest printing of this tune in Robert 'Red Rob' Mackintosh's (c. 1745-1807) first collection (1783, p. 31). Macintosh, originally from Perthshire, established himself in Ediburgh as a teacher and performer of music, and published four collections of music in the late 18th century.
