HAPPY GO LUCKY CLOG, THE. Canadian, Clog. Canada, Cape Breton. F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB'. Composed by Northside (Cape Breton County), Cape Breton, fiddler Donald MacLean. It was one of Angus Chisholm's "pet tunes" according to Paul Stewart Cranford (1995). The melody has also been attributed to the prolific Cape Breton composer Dan R. MacDonald (see "Happy Go Lucky").
