Tune properties and standard notation

MRS. MUIR MACKENZIE’S FANCY. Scottish, Jig. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. The composition is credited to Mr. Sharp of Hoddom in Malcolm MacDonald’s 2nd Collection, a volume dedicated to the Earl of Breadalbane. The credit is unusual, as MacDonald seldom credited the composers of other tunes he printed.
