JUNO AND PALLAS. English, Country Dance Tune (6/8 time). G Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'. The tune dates to 1726 when it was published in the Third Volume of the Dancing Master (2nd edition), published by John Young in London. Young was heir to the Playford publishing concerns. The melody also appeared in the Third Book of Walsh and Hare's New Country Dancing Master (London, 1728).
