ARCADIAN ONE STEP. Cajun, One step. USA, Louisiana. The tune was originally recorded in 1929 by Cajun accordion player Joseph Falcon. Harry Smith (Folkways FS1952, 1952) writes: “The accordion, one of the most basic Arcadian instruments, is seldom heard in the states north of Louisiana.”
