CURLEW REEL [1], THE. AKA - "The Curlews." AKA and see "Darach de Brun's," "Road to Cashel." Irish, Reel. B Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by Mullaghbawn, south County Armagh, fiddler Josephine Keegan (b. 1935). Her composition is originally titled "The Curlews" (plural), named for the Curlew mountains, a low range in County Roscommon and County Sligo.
