KILDARE QUICKSTEP, THE. Irish, Quickstep. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. 'Kildare', derived from the Gaelic cill dara, means 'Church of the Oaks' or "the 'cell' by the oak' (referring to a monastery founded by St. Bride).
