KITTY QUINN (Caitilín Ní Cuinn). AKA - "Kathleen Quinn." Irish, Air (6/8 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. O'Sullivan (1983) finds no other versions of the tune extent, though notes there are some similarities between this air and Bunting's version of "Huis the Cat." O'Neill's version seems to be taken from Bunting.

Source for notated version: the index to the Irish Collector Edward Bunting's 1840 collection states the piece was noted from the harper Charles Byrne in 1802.

Printed sources: O'Neill (Music of Ireland: 1850 Melodies), 1903; No. 163, p. 28. O'Sullivan/Bunting, 1983; No. 88, pp. 132-133.
