CRAFTON's BLUES [1]. Old-Time, Country Rag. C Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Related to "I Don't Love Nobody." A piece composed by Ocie Stockard, recorded by fiddler Cecil Brower. Both men were with the group Milton Brown's Musical Brownies, a seminal 'Western Swing' string band. Stockard was born In 1909 in Crafton, Texas, some 65 miles north west of Fort Worth, although the hamlet has since disappeared.
