Source for notated version: fiddler Nellie Kennedy (Chicago) whose brother, fiddler James Kennedy also contributed to O'Neill's collection, and whose father was a County Leitrim fiddler of local renown from whom she learned this tune [O'Neill]; Francie and Mickey Byrne (County Donegal) [Feldman & O'Doherty].
