LEATHER THE WIG (Plancam Peirbig). AKA and see "Bunter's Delight (The)," "Curl the Wig," "Will You Come Plank Come Plank," "Whack at the Whigs (A)." Irish, English; Slip Jig. G Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. An anti-whig song published by Playford in 1713. The title means to thresh the 'wig', as symbolizing the Whig.
