LADY TOWNSEND'S FANCY. English, Country Dance Tune (2/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCC. The tune could be employed as a polka or reel. See note for "Lady Walpole Reel (1)" for a mention of the Townsend family.
