LIFE OF MAN [2]. AKA and see "Hopetoun House," "Sweet Mally," "Sweet Molly (1)" "Youngest Daughter (1) (The)." Scottish, Reel. E Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The melody appears under this title in William Vickers' 1770 Northumbrian music manuscript. Unfortunately, nothing is known about Vickers. There are many variants in both Scotland and Ireland (see notes for "Youngest Daughter (1) (The)" and "Annotation:Hopetoun House").
