LITTLE RED LARK (OF THE MOUNTAIN) [1], THE. AKA - "An Fuiseogin Dearg." Irish, Air (6/8 time, "gracefully"). Ireland, County Armagh. G Major (O'Neill): F Major (Stanford/Petrie). Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. The tune is a version of the Irish air "Ballylee," and is also similar to "Caitlín Tirial" (Kitty Tyrell (2)). The Irish collector George Petrie (1790–1866) obtained his version in County Armagh.
