LITTLE JACK'S REEL. AKA and see "Charlie's Brother." Canadian, Reel. Canada; Cape Breton, Prince Edward Island. E Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. The tune was recorded in the 1930's by Cape Breton-raised fiddler Little Jack MacDonald (who spent much of his life in Ontario). Perlman (1996) identifies the 'A' part as being the same as the Scottish strathspey "Mrs. Ramsay."
