MISS FARQUHARSON OF MONALTRIE’S DELIGHT. Scottish, Strathspey. C Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Robert Petrie, of Kirkmichael, Perthshire, dedicated his first collection to Mrs. Farquharson of Monaltrie, whose daughter is presumably the subject of the title of this tune. The principle branches of the Farquharson family were of Inverey, Invercauld and Monaltrie.
