LEITRIM FANCY [2], THE. AKA - "Leitrim Jig (2) (The)," "Lonesome Jig (3)." AKA and see "Daleystown Hunt (The)." Irish, Double Jig. Ireland, County Sligo. E Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune was popularized in modern times (1977) by the Bothy Band, although the title is more commonly applied to a hornpipe. The alternate title, "Daleystown Hunt (The)," is the name under which the tune was recorded by Joe Burke.
