LORD HOBARD'S MINUET. English, Minuet (3/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Kate Van Winkler Keller (1992) suggests the tune was named for Robert, Baron Hobart, the eldest son of the 3rd Earl of Buckinghamshire, who served in the American War.

Source for notated version: the music manuscript of Captain George Bush (1753?-1797), a fiddler and officer in the Continental Army during the American Revolution [Keller].
