QUEEN VICTORIA'S DIAMOND JUBILEE. Scottish, March or Polka. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABB. A diamond jubilee traditionally occurs on the 75 anniversary, however, it was decided to move the celebration for British Queen Victoria (1819–1901) forward, and it occurred on the anniversary of her 60th anniversary of her reign, in June, 1897.

Christine Martin (1991) describes her setting as “a fiddle setting of a bagpipe polka.” It can be played for a Canadian Barn Dance at ceilidhs.
