QUADRILLE BOUCHARD (premiere partie). AKA - "Quadrille Bouchard 1ère Partie." French-Canadian, Jig. G Major ('A' part) & D Major ('B' part). Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. Fiddler Joseph Bouchard [1] (1905-1979) recorded two versions of this set of tunes, in 1938 and 1975. The 1938 recording was made in Montréal in March for RCA Records, who released it on its Bluebird label in June of that year.

The 1975 version featured five parts to the four of the 1938 version (Joyal).In the 1975 version of the set of quadrille's, the third part is different than the 1938 version, and the 1938 fourth part was shifted in the 1975 version to become the fifth part while a new fourth part was added.
