MABOU STRATHSPEY ON D, A. Canadian, Strathspey. Canada, Cape Breton. D Major or D Major/Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Kate Dunlay and David Greenberg (1996) also find that the strathspey was in the repertoire of Cape Breton fiddler Johnny Wilmot, learned from Joe Confiant.
