LADY ELIZA CALLANDER'S FAVOURITE. Scottish, Slow Air (6/8 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Lady Elizabeth Callander died at Criagforth, Stirlingshire, in October, 1797, leaving behind five young children. She was the third wife of Colonel James Callander. Aird gives the tune's provenance as "Irish."
