MARTIN'S RATTLER. American, March (2/4 time). D Major ('A' part) & B Minor ('B' part). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Sweet credits the tune to one Billy Martin of the 12th Regiment of the New York National Guard (1904). Bayard thinks this tune derivative of "Johnnie Cope."
