MARTIN WYNNE'S (NO. 4). Irish, Reel. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). In the liner notes to New York fiddler Brian Conway's album "First Through the Gate," Earl Hitchner and Don Meade say: "Brian first heard Martin play it at a Philadelphia Festival in 1976, but says it took him ten years to coax the older fiddler into playing it again! Martin composed as many as ten other tunes that he felt were unworthy of publication."
