MECHANICS' HALL JIG. AKA and see "Bird on the Wing." This tune is also the 5th and 6th strain of "Kitty O'Neill's Championship Jig." In George H. Coe's album of violin music, p. 36. There were many Mechanic's Halls in the United States, famously, for example, a stage venue in New York City.
