AMSBAUGH'S SCHOTTISCHE. American, Schottische. There is a key change to 'G' major with the second strain. Samul Bayard collected the tune from the playing of elderly Jefferson County, western Pennsylvania, fiddler Wilbur Neal in 1948, and identified Ira Ford's "Meadow Schottische" as a variant.
