MERRY HARRY. English, Jig (6/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The melody appears in Thomas Davis's volume of country dances for the year 1748. It also appears in John Johnson's Choice Collection of 200 Favourite Country Dances vol. 5 (London, 1750) where it is attributed to Davis.
