LASS OF BALLINTRAE [2]. AKA - "Bonny Lass of Ballantrae (The)." Scottish, Reel. F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB (Surenne): AAB (Gow, Stewart-Robertson). The tune appears in Joseph Lowe's 1844 collection where it is attributed to Captain Fraser (musician and collector Captain Simon Fraser, although it does not seem to appear in any of Fraser's collections). See also the related Irish reel "Flags of Dublin (1) (The)."
