MILL OF NEWE. Scottish, Strathspey. E Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Composed by Biography:Alexander Walker. The Mill of Newe is in Strathdon, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, and was an early corn mill with a prominent Aberdeenshire kiln vent (comprising revolving ventilator with polygonal slate base).
