BLOOMING MEADOWS [2], THE. Irish, Double Jig. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCC (O'Neill): AABB'CC (Harker/Rafferty, Mulvihill). A variant of "Blooming Meadows (1)," with a third part. This is the version commonly played in sessions today.

Sources for notated versions: the Tulla Ceili Band [Mulvihill]; Chicago Police Sergeant James O'Neill, a fiddler originally from County Down and Francis O'Neill's collaborator [O'Neill]; New Jersey flute player Mike Rafferty, born in Ballinakill, Co. Galway, in 1926 [Harker].
