MOLLY FROM LONGFORD [2] (Mailí ón Longfort). Irish, Single Jig (12/8 time). E Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. The tune is more famously set as a reel under the "Molly from Longford (1)" title and, in another version, "Pay the Girl Her Fourpence."

Source for notated version: Brother Gildas (a schoolteacher and member of the De La Salle order), who got it from Richard O'Mealy (1875-1946), a piper and pipe-maker born in County Westmeath who lived in Cork, Dublin and Belfast at various times.
