MONK'S MARCH, WITH THE WANDERS. English, Country Dance Tune (2/2 & 6/8 time). F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB'CCDD'. The tune was published in all four editions of London publisher John Young's The Second Volume of the Dancing Master (1710-1728), and in Walsh & Randall's The New Country Dancing Master, Second Book (1710, as "Monk's March") and Walsh & Hare's The Second Book of the Compleat Country Dancing-Master (1719 as "Monk's March with the Wanders").
