MRS. SAMUEL ANDERSON'S STRATHSPEY. Scottish, Strathspey. E Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by Biography:William Shepherd (c. 1750-1812). The title may refer to the wife of Edinburgh banker Samuel Anderson (d. 1823) esq., of Rowchester and Moredun, a well-respected member of the merchant class.
