D Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). No apparent relation to "Banish Misfortune (1)." See also Breathnach's CRÉ I, No. 29, "South West Wind (The)." Petrie also published a version of the tune under the title "Bacach na Cleithe" in his Ancient Music of Ireland (Dublin, 1882).
