MONTAGNARDS LAURENTIENS [2] (Laurentien Highlanders). French-Canadian, Reel. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. The Laurentiens are a northern section of the Appalachian Mountains in Québec, however the title refers to the popular group The Montagnards Laurentiens who broadcast on CHRC for decades (1931-1962) in the plumb prime-time hour of Saturday 9PM-10PM.
