DUBLIN JIG [3]. American, Jig. USA, southwestern Pa. G Major ('A' and 'B' parts) & E Minor ('C' part). Standard tuning (fiddle). ABC. Bayard (1981) identifies this as a composite tune made from combining strains; the 'A' and 'B' part of this "Dublin Jig" are close to "Chalk Sunday" (Joyce) or "Dublin Boy". Tunes generally resembling this one or parts of this one, he says, are "Pretty Jane" and "Sir Archibald Campbell's Jig."
