MORRISON'S (REEL) [3]. AKA and see "Carracastle Lass," "Joe O'Dowd's Reel," "Lady Mary Montague," "Lass of Carracastle," "Miss Langford." Irish, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune was called "Morrison's" on De Danann's 1978 album "Star Spangled Molly," a reference to New York fiddler James "The Professor" Morrison (1891-1947), originally from south County Sligo. Morrison recorded the reel in New York in 1935, under the title "Miss Langford."
