MOUNTAIN REEL [1]. Old-Time, Reel. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. A rather typical version of the "Miss McLeod's Reel (1)" or "Hop High Ladies" tune family. Charlie Poole and the North Carolina Ramblers recorded the tune in 1926 as "Mountain Reel No. 1."
