MAJOR'S MAGGOT. Scottish, Jig. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune was entered into the c. 1790 music manuscript collection of Edward Murphy of Newport (probably Rhode Island), along with several others from Aird's first collection.
