MAID OF ARGYLE'S, THE. AKA and see "Muldoon's Favorite." Scottish, Reel. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Curiously, the same tune is printed in Ryan's/Cole's as "Muldoon's Favorite" a few pages distant from "The Maid of Argyle's." Provenance is presumably Scottish by virtue of title, however, it could be an American-composed tune in the Scottish style.
