Tune properties and standard notation

CAULD KAIL. Scottish, Reel. A Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. The title appears in the Holmain MS (1710-50), which consists of six pages of instructions for country dances. There is some confusion of titles, as "Cauld Kail" is sometimes short for "Cauld Kail in Aberdeen," however, the melodies differ.
