HAWKS AND EAGLES. Old-Time, Breakdown. USA. D Major (Brody, Silberberg): G Major (Spandaro). Standard, ADad or ADae tunings (fiddle). AABB. The source for the tune is fiddler Norman Edmonds and the Old Timers. Edmonds [1] (1889-1976) was from Hillsville, southwest Virginia. Some similarities to "Nancy Blevins."
