BURNTWOOD ASSEMBLY. English, Country Dance Tune (cut time). C Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The melody was also printed in London publisher Thomas Skillern's Skillern's Compleat Collection of Two Hundred & Four Reels (1780). There are several Burntwoods in England, including a Burntwood Lane in London.
