NANCY'S WALTZ. American, Waltz. A Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB. Composed in 1980 by Chris Romaine (Silver Spring, Maryland) for Nancy Morris, "a good dance and music friend." Played at Pinewoods (music and dance camp) in 1981, where it was picked up by fiddler Rodney Miller and others.
